A Day on The Job
The Lead Medical Assistant - Patient Flow Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of health center services. In this lead role you would have direct responsibility to maintain optimal patient flow by continuously monitoring and adjusting staff schedules, prioritizing charts/clients to optimize room utilization and decrease wait time and by actively managing health center supply inventory levels.
Additionally, the Lead Medical Assistant- Patient Flow Coordinator supports the Health Center Manager in training, motivating and evaluating staff members and is responsible to provide leadership of health center staff in the absence of the Health Center Manager.
Your Schedule
Our health center is currently open for services Monday through Friday with plans to add services on alternating Saturdays in the near future. We start our day just before 8:00 a.m. with a huddle and typically wrap-up around 5:00 p.m. Saturday hours will likely be 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Hourly Rates: The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20 - $25 an hour based on certification and experience. Employees are recognized for continued learning and workplace contributions during annual performance reviews.

We Need Someone Who:
A strong preference for medical assistant certification through NHA or RMA and/or an associate’s degree. As well as experience in an urgent care, community health, primary care or OB/GYN setting.
